When should you look into Medicare Plans and Options?
If you will be turning 65 within in the next 3-6 months or if you are already 65 or older and enrolled into Medicare Advantage plan, the Medicare Open Enrollment Period (MOEP) is January 1 – March 31 each year. During MOEP, if you are enrolled in a Medicare Advantage Plan, you can switch to a different Medicare Advantage Plan, add a Dental Rider, or switch to Original Medicare (and join a separate Medicare drug plan) once during this period. Please note: Any changes you make during the MOEP will take effect 1st of the following received enrollment application.
